Rowling, J.K. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
This is the last book in the Harry Potter series. I finished it in 4 days. I loved most of it. I think that J.K. Rowling has become an amazing author. As her audience has grown up, so has her writing. This one had words in it that even I didn't know (what's a plinth anyone???). Without spoiling the book for anyone, I do have to say that it dragged a bit in the middle. I know she wanted us to feel the characters' frustration that nothing was happening, but I would have been happier if she'd skipped some of the camping parts. Then, in the end when it got REALLY exciting, she skipped over what could have been a really good part and just told us readers what happened, without showing us. But, don't let me talk you out of reading it. The ending was very satisfying; you find out what happens to all the characters. Now, I think I'll go back and read the series all over again. For those of you who haven't read any of them - my advice is to read them all in order, even if you've seen the movies. (reviewed by H. Zana)
This book is my favorite Harry Potter ever! It sucks that Mad eye moony dies and it sucks even more about Dolby Dhaving to die. At the end i completely thought harry was going to die, but he didn't (thank god and J.K. Rowling.) I also say I have to agree with Ms Zana about not knowing what some of their words mean. That book had plenty of action and if you're wondering what book to read next you should read this book. You'll never wan't to stop reading. (reviewed and loved the book by yours truely)
